Dobro Duolian "Hula Blues" 1999, Palm Tree Stencil

The Dobro Duolian “Hula Blues” brings a bit of Hawaiian-inspired flair to the classic resonator design, with a Maple body and palm tree stencil that give this 1999 example plenty of visual character. The wooden construction delivers a different look from the metal-bodied Duolians, while the resonator provides the cutting voice that makes these instruments a natural fit for everything from slide playing to roots music. It remains in good condition overall, with some chipping on the back and finish checking throughout. The neck is twisted, and there is little to no break angle behind the saddle, which prevents the treble-side action from being lowered further.
