This 2022 Daniel Davis C8 Corvette guitar is a fully custom, one-of-a-kind tribute to the iconic American sports car, merging luthiery with automotive design in an extraordinary way. The body is shaped like the C8 Corvette Ray emblem, with sound holes mirroring the side vents of the car, and a top airbrushed for a 3D emblem effect. The tailpiece features an inlay view of the C8 engine through the rear window, along with the new C8 emblem rendered in mother-of-pearl. The pickup cover is topped with a hand-crafted ebony C8 steering wheel—complete with MOP paddle shifters and emblem—and the pickguard takes its shape from the C8's headlights. Additional inlays include "CORVETTE" across the fretboard in the official car font, an abstract C8 silhouette, and MOP running lights with functional LEDs. The headstock mirrors the front end of the C8, and the bridge echoes the design of its high-rise spoiler. Surrounding the body are pen-and-ink illustrations of the C1 through C7 Corvettes, each finished in their original factory colors. On the back, a vivid airbrushed rendering of a Red Mist Metallic C8 completes the concept. With three Corvette emblems incorporated—just like the car—this guitar is both a high-performance instrument and a detailed homage to the legacy of the Corvette.
