The Collings OM1 JL is the result of a close collaboration between master builder Bill Collings and virtuoso guitarist Julian Lage. Inspired by Julian’s beloved 1939 Martin 000-18, the OM1 JL stands out in the Collings lineup for its vintage-leaning voice and feel. Designed to capture the warmth and responsiveness of a well-played prewar guitar, it features a custom satin lacquer finish, a neck carve modeled after Julian’s worn-in 000-18, and a bracing pattern that later helped shape Collings’ Traditional Series models. The result is an instrument that is incredibly open, expressive, and honest—rewarding a nuanced touch while still offering plenty of clarity and balance. This 2017 example features an upgraded Adirondack spruce top, adding extra headroom and dynamic range, especially in ensemble settings. The guitar is in excellent condition overall with very little playwear. Comes with the original Collings handmade hard case.

*When using Affirm, we charge an additional 3.5% fee on the total at checkout. The majority of our instruments are consignment, where CVG keeps a small percentage of each sale. To be able to cover the additional costs required to offer financing, we have to include a higher fee to the customer. The 3.5% fee will be included in and spread across your Affirm payments.
