The Collings MF5 V features the same construction and appointments as the standard MF5, but includes an oil-based varnish finish. This offers improved and refined acoustic tone, perfect for a high quality bluegrass instrument. An ivoroid bound ebony pickguard and impressive headstock inlay pop on this mandolin's a beautifully understated design. Cosmetically, it's in excellent shape with only the most minor player wear.
