This 2020 Collings CL showcases a beautifully figured maple top paired with a Honduran mahogany body, a combination chosen for exceptional tone and responsiveness. Designed with sound as the priority, the resonant mahogany construction and meticulously hand-set mortise-and-tenon neck joint deliver impressive sustain and rich harmonic complexity. Finished in a classic sunburst, the guitar features light, tasteful checking that adds character without detracting from its condition. The original electronics remain intact, loaded with Throbak pickups for a powerful, articulate voice. This instrument is in excellent condition and shows only minimal signs of use.
