When it comes to quality American flattop manufacturers, Bourgeois of Lewiston, Maine often comes to conversation. At the time of its build, this 1996 slope shoulder dreadnaught was at the highest end for the quality luthiery brand. The slope shoulder design originally comes from Gibson and is comfortable in shape and loud in sound. One will not find a pearl-inlaid slope shoulder Gibson, like they might find in a Martin 41 series, so this concept was made for the connoisseur. With only a couple repaired/glued lower bout cracks and a previous pickup system, this guitar is in pre-loved great condition.
