This 2019 Bourgeois D Style 45 Brazilian Custom is a top-tier take on the classic D-45 dreadnought, built with a torrefied Adirondack spruce top and Brazilian rosewood back and sides. The combination delivers a powerful, three-dimensional voice with strong projection, rich overtones, and a refined clarity that rewards both heavy strumming and nuanced picking. True to the D-45 tradition, it’s appointed with elegant, high-end details throughout, and while it already sounds outstanding, the torrefied top and premium tonewoods suggest it will only continue to mature and open up with more playing time.
