This 2017 Bourgeois Custom Country Boy is a lively, mid-sized flat-top with the kind of presence and power that belies its footprint. In pretty excellent condition with only very minor signs of wear—and no endpin ever installed—it has clearly been well cared for. The voice is impressively full, with enough low-end authority to go toe-to-toe with many dreadnoughts while still offering the balance, focus, and quick response that smaller bodies are known for. Smooth playability and strong projection make it an ideal partner for lead work and bluegrass flatpicking, and a rewarding choice for any player who wants big, versatile tone without stepping up to a full dread.
