This 2024 Blazer & Henkes D-28 is a carefully built dreadnought from luthier Willi Henkes. It features a seasoned moon-logged Austrian Alpine spruce top paired with old growth Brazilian rosewood back and sides. The Alpine spruce top provides clarity and strength, while the coveted Brazilian rosewood adds depth and a broad overtone range. Blazer & Henkes instruments are known for their precise construction and attention to detail, and this example reflects that approach throughout. It is a thoughtfully executed modern dreadnought built with exceptional tonewoods.
