Description
Meet the Bellringer, Benson's fresh take on the Chimera circuit with the notable addition being the Power Scaling Circuit.  Benson uses a 6L6 as a variable voltage regulator which allows you to dial the amp from the full 35w capacity down to 1wT and introduces the sag and harmonic richness of a cranked amp at lower volumes....not to mention extra saturation and subtle fuzz at lower volumes.  The Bellringer is powered by a pair of EL34 tubes.The reverb circuit is modeled after The Tall Bird and can go from subtle to lush and wet with the turn of a knob. The amp is in excellent shape, with only minor signs of wear.

This amp is built with point to point construction on terminal strips. No circuit, eyelet, or turret board.
Benson uses, a Custom Sours Transformer Set, Mallory 150 Capacitors, and builds the Dovetailed pine speaker cabinet in house. 
Benson amplifiers truly are a hand built masterpiece.
