This La Spéciale is an excellent Gypsy-style guitar from ALD, showcasing premium tonewoods and refined craftsmanship throughout. It features a fine spruce top paired with Brazilian rosewood back and sides, resulting in a voice that is rich, warm, and slightly more rounded than many traditional Gypsy guitars.
The comfortable U-shaped neck provides confident, effortless playability, allowing for smooth navigation across the fingerboard with excellent response and control.
Aesthetically, it is equally striking, with elegant detailing throughout. The tailpiece features a distinctive green felt accent that adds a tasteful touch of color, while the inlays are beautifully executed with varied, flowing shapes that enhance the instrument’s visual appeal.
In very clean overall condition, this is a superb example of a finely built Gypsy guitar.
