Rockbridge Guitars was founded in 2002 by Brian Calhoun and Randall Ray in Charlottesville, Virginia. Their slope-shouldered dreadnought takes clear inspiration from the classic Gibson J-35, capturing that timeless design while adding Rockbridge’s own refined touch. The slope-shoulder shape features a wider lower bout and a more rounded upper bout, contributing to a big, powerful sound with a focused voice that remains clear and controlled. This balance makes it a highly versatile guitar that works beautifully across a wide range of playing styles. This guitar was custom built for country artist Cody Purvis and features some very cool, one-off specs. Highlights include a shaded top and a distinctive double pickguard that completes the look. This guitar is in excellent condition and comes with a Cedar Creek hard case.
