This 1963 Martin D-18 has seen a thoughtful restoration that preserves its vintage soul while ensuring it's ready for many more years of music. With its original mahogany back and sides and a beautifully aged spruce top, it delivers the dry, woody voice that defines a great early-’60s dreadnought—clear, punchy, and warm. The guitar has had a number of professional repairs, including a neck reset, refret, replacement Indian rosewood fingerboard, and a new Brazilian rosewood bridge with replacement saddle and pins. The body and neck have been fully oversprayed, and structural work includes a reglued X-brace, a large maple cleat on the bass side shoulder, a repaired B-string crack, and a glued end block strip. A plate mate bridge plate saver was added to reinforce the bridge plate, and a replacement endpin has been glued in place. Well-played and well-cared for, this D-18 has the voice and feel of a seasoned instrument, with the stability to handle decades more.

Includes modern Martin hard shell case.
