Description
This pre-war D-18 is a fantastic sounding guitar with true vintage Martin tone and excellent playability. It has gone through substantial repairs, but is in stable condition and ready for its next player. Repairs before we received the guitar include a re-fret, neck reset, new fretboard, plugged and drilled bridge plate, and a re-glued replacement bridge. Additionally, there was substantial cracking on the top, treble side, and treble lower side that has been repaired with cleats. The guitar has been refinished, it has a new nut, a replacement saddle, nut and tuners top it off. Its tone is perfectly balanced with crisp highs and responsive bass, and its action is set on the higher side, but plenty of saddle to adjust. Full repair list in the specs.
