Description

This 1953 Martin 000-21 is a fantastic guitar with crystalline tone and perfect playability. It's a perfect recording guitar with a dialed in mid/high range that would require little EQing. There were not many of these made (an estimated 159 in 1953) which increases its cool factor as well. It has had a refret, neck reset and bridge reglue with a replacement saddle. The bracing has been lightly scalloped by some luthier after initial construction. Two cracks have been repaired, a b-string crack and back side lower bout crack. Includes vintage Martin hard shell case with green interior lining.
