This Guild M-75 stands in a class of its own. With a tone reminiscent of a jazz box and a body shape akin to a Les Paul, it represents a distinctive model from Guild's early days. Weighing just 5.4 pounds, thanks to its hollow body construction, this guitar is exceptionally comfortable to play and sounds fantastic, driven by its original Franz pickups that deliver a punchy yet articulate tone. Cosmetically, it shows typical signs of aging for Guilds of this era. The binding has shrunk and cracked in some areas but remains stable. There is also a small crack on the back near the end block, which appears secure. A refret and a new nut give this guitar a modern, comfortable playability, while still preserving the vintage mojo you'd expect from a 1950s instrument. It comes with its original hardshell case.
