Gibson’s L-5 stands as a landmark instrument in the history of guitar design, celebrated as the company’s premier archtop and the first guitar to feature the iconic f-hole design. Originally a staple of the big-band era, the L-5 gained prominence across genres, becoming a favorite among jazz, blues, country, and rock musicians for its rich, resonant tone and exceptional craftsmanship.

This particular example boasts a replacement Lollar Low Wind Imperial bridge pickup, delivering articulate, vintage-inspired tones with added clarity and definition. The pickguard has also been replaced, complementing the guitar’s aesthetics and functionality. The blonde finish has aged gracefully, showcasing a warm patina that highlights the natural beauty of the wood. Its playability is superb, offering a smooth and responsive feel that suits a variety of styles, while the tone is nothing short of inspiring.

The guitar comes with its original hardshell case.
