Description

This stunning L-4C shares similar specs and dimensions with the ES-175 but features a solid carved spruce top. Cosmetically, it has plenty of character, reflecting its storied past, including photos of the original owner playing it while stationed in the Navy and the original 1953 receipt to complete the tale. Thoughtful repairs and updates have kept this guitar in excellent playing condition, including replaced tuners (originals included), a refret, a new nut, an added strap pin at the heel, a replaced bridge, and a repaired side crack near the endpin. With its smooth low action, this guitar plays beautifully and sounds exceptional. Includes a non-original chipboard case.
