This 1992 Gibson J-200 Jr. in Blonde offers the classic styling of Gibson’s famed Super Jumbo in a slightly scaled-down package. With its maple back and sides and a spruce top, it delivers a focused, articulate voice while retaining the warmth and depth these guitars are known for. The 16" lower bout design was later tamed a bit appointments-wise and replaced with the J-185, making the J-200 Jr. a relatively rare model! It’s seen a handful of professional repairs, including a reglued bridge, a top crack repair near the fingerboard extension (reinforced with a maple cleat), a fret dress, and replacement saddle. Structurally sound and set up to play cleanly, this J-200 Jr. is a great option for players looking for vintage vibe and tone in a more manageable body size.
