The 1983 Gibson Explorer CMT (Curly Maple Top) is a distinctive take on the classic Explorer, featuring a bound maple top over a mahogany body for added flair and tonal brightness. It sports a set mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard, dual 490R & 490T humbuckers for aggressive output on the bridge pickup, and gold hardware.
