Gibson ES-330TD 1960, Sunburst

When you start off a description with "1960 Gibson," you already know you will be in good territory. Originally priced at $250, which was only $15 less than a Les Paul Standard Burst, the ES-330 was a serious investment into the legendary 1950's p-90 sound. While on first glance it looks like a P-90 version of its humbucker ES-335 brother, it is arguably more of a cousin to the previous ES-225. With a hollow body, there is an acoustic element to the 330 not found in the solid block 335; so feel free to play away on your sofa unplugged. In addition to that fast 1960 neck profile, this example hosts black pickup covers, bound dot-inlay Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, aluminum bigsby bridge/saddle combo, non-reflector knobs, and 1 11/16th inch nut width that help it fall into a very desirable spec category. An incredible example of an iconic guitar made famous by Grant Green, the only modifications to this one: refret (original frets in case), sharpie touchup to headstock, and bigsby.
