This rare all rosewood Telecaster was made in 1971. It's in very good condition, plays great and sounds excellent. The original prototype rosewood Tele was made, and delivered to, George Harrison in 1968. George famously played his rosewood guitar on the roof of the Apple offices in London for The Beatles last live performance in January of 1969. Fender only produced these guitars for three years from 1969 until 1972. This guitar is lightweight, for one of these models, at 8.0 pounds and has a great "C" shaped neck profile. The following work has been done on the guitar: refret and new nut, replaced truss rod plug and the fretboard has been refinished. The guitar comes in its original black hardshell case.
