From the early days of the pedal steel guitar, this 1959 Fender Super 400 comes to us in largely original condition. With a comparatively simple eight string/four foot pedal copedent, this instrument is ideal for the student that is looking for an introduction to the instrument, the enthusiast that desires a piece of pedal steel and Pre-CBS history, or the pedal steel tinkerer that might be interested in modifying the undercarriage. Aside from a newly fabricated pedal rod, the guitar is in original and incredibly reasonable condition. This Super 400 is a hard steel guitar to find, and an equally easy one to get lost in.
