This 1962 Fender Stratocaster features a body refinished in Daphne Blue, bringing a fresh look to its early-’60s contours. The headstock shows overspray on both sides, and some chipping around the tuner holes remains from earlier replacements. It has been refretted with a new nut installed, and a replacement decal applied. Several components have been changed over time, including the bridge pickup, pickguard, tuners, saddles, bridge plate, trem block, pickup covers, switch, and switch tip. The pots have also been replaced with 1980s CTS units. Despite the modifications, the guitar retains the feel and balance that define an early ’60s Stratocaster - with a great neck to boot. Cosmetically, it remains in good condition - the refinish was laid on a bit on the thicker side resulting in some checking and finish cracking, but overall it's a good-looking solid job.
Includes Baldwin hard shell case.
