Modifications/RepairsUnoriginal pick guard, refret, re-sodering done, foam under pickups replaced. Neck has been sanded down from the zero fret to the body. Rhythm circuit switch unoriginal.
This early sixties Jazzmaster would probably have a lot to say if could speak.  With a neck reading 3/60 and body reading 08/63, one can assume many things about how this guitar came together.  Besides the modern pick guard, refret and replaced rhythm circuit switch, everything appears to be original. Pots read '63 and the original pickups sound fat and clear with gorgeous high end.  The neck has been sanded for a smooth playing feel.  Though a hacked up early sixties jazz master, this one offers everything you'd want in terms of playability and sound from one.  Comes with a Fender HSC.
