Los Angeles-based Joel Whitehead has been restoring and converting Martins for years now, and brings the know-how from working on vintage instruments to his own builds. This OM captures the essence of the Golden Era, with an Adirondack spruce top, forward-shifted bracing, classic appointments, and Honduran rosewood back and sides that replicate the look and tone of Brazilian exceptionally well. It even has a relic treatment to give it more of that vintage vibe! As you'd expect with a standard scale length OM like this, it handles flatpicking, strumming and fingerpicking in equal measure, and has a darker, warmer tone that many would find suitable for vocal accompaniment.
Ships in a Harptone hardshell case.
