This is a spectacular dreadnought from the workshop of Wayne Henderson. Upon first glance you are lead to believe that this is a no-frills guitar. However with close inspection, flamed purfling and incredible attention to detail are noticed. This fine instrument has some markings all over from commitment to its purpose of being a players guitar. There are no notable injuries to the guitar or repairs that take away from Wayne's craftsmanship. This is simply one of the best Mahogany dreadnoughts we have seen in a while. Captured clarity in single notes or chords make the guitar articulate and clean tonally. There is a mid focus that blooms in the low end, allowing the player a noticeable amount of punch. The neck is fairly narrow in depth and width which feels a bit unfamiliar to vintage Martin fans, however, it makes for a fast and enjoyable playing experience.
