This is a spectacular 0000 guitar from the workshop of Wayne Henderson made for George Gruhn. This particular instrument features an Adirondack spruce top and Brazilian rosewood back and sides, highlighted with beautiful abalone binding. The guitar offers exceptional clarity in both single notes and chords, resulting in articulate and clean tonal quality. It has a midrange focus that blooms in the low end, providing the player with a noticeable punch. The neck is relatively narrow in both depth and width, which might feel unfamiliar to vintage Martin fans, but it makes for a fast and enjoyable playing experience. Aside from some grain separation that was cleated on the back near the back strip, this guitar is in excellent condition, showing minimal signs of wear.
OHSC included.
