Voight F-5 2010, Sunburst

This 2010 Voight F-5 in sunburst shows a naturally aged aesthetic, with tasteful, natural play wear that gives it an inviting, well-played look. The neck appears to have been lightly sanded for a smoother feel, while some areas of the top show light overspray from previous touch-up work. Structurally solid and finely built, it plays with ease and delivers the strong, woody projection expected from a quality F-style mandolin. The tone is lively and balanced, with plenty of depth and clarity across the range. A character-rich, great-sounding instrument from a skilled independent builder.  Comes with a tweed style HSC.
