Description

Introduced around 2000 the Taylor AB1 was an acoustic-electric bass for the player who prefers the sound of a traditional upright bass. Imbuia back and sides combined with a "softer," less-dense Sitka spruce top produce a "loose," warm, woody sound with plenty of sustain, allowing more of a tonal blend from string to string.
