Soldano Hot Rod 50 Plus HR-50X Head 2000, Purple

This is a great-sounding Soldano head, built during the original run between 1990 and 2000. It predates the 2018 transition to Boutique Amp Designs, so you’re getting the nuance and craftsmanship from the era when Mike Soldano was still building them himself.

Laid out similarly to the SLO, it features two channels with independent gain and master controls for each. You might think of it as an easier entry point into the SLO sound—but at a much lower price. The amp is in spectacular condition, with minimal signs of wear, and looks practically new!
