These "Department store" amps have grown into prominence over the last couple of decades for being a low cost piece with excellent sound. The Silvertone 1484 "Twin-Twelve" comes packed with features, though unfortunately the reverb is non-functional, which is common due to the nature of the circuit design and inability to find replacement tanks. The tremolo does work, though they mostly get used with the volume cranked, giving a great, organic sounding tube crunch. It has received a light bit of servicing (3-prong cable swap & new Jensen speaker) but is still mostly original.
