Description
These "department store" amps have grown into prominence over the last couple of decades for being a low-cost option with excellent sound. The Silvertone 1484 Twin-Twelve comes packed with features, and this particular amp has working reverb—which is seldom functional on vintage units. The tremolo sounds great as well, though these are mostly used with the volume cranked, delivering a great, organic-sounding tube crunch.

Internally, it has a changed power cable and electrolytic caps, but the rest looks to be stock. It should be noted the amp does have it's original hard-wired speaker cable, which is around 14" long.
