Description

This was an entry level amplifier from Sears Roebuck in the late 50's. These lesser known small combos are sleeper amps, and have a very similar sound to the Tweed Champ, minus a couple thousand dollars.

One great thing to point out about this amp is the fact it's had a line isolation transformer installed, making it safe to use anywhere! The sound is nice and quiet too. These amps were so cheap that they used tubes wired straight to the AC for voltage delivery, but have since been labeled "widowmaker" amps, due to how dangerous they can be if things fail on the amp. Luckily the line isolation transformer remedies this completely, and keeps the amp sounding great as well!
