Santa Cruz OM Custom 2020, Cocobolo & Moon Spruce

This custom 2020 Santa Cruz OM is as gorgeous to look at as it is to play and hear. An exquisite top of moon spruce with shimmery silking is matched with some lovely reddish-brown cocobolo, mostly straight-grained but with some sumptuous figuring on the outer perimeter. Tonally, it has a beautiful voice that's a delight played quietly and intimately, but with plenty of headroom for flatpick use, too. It has a compelling darker quality across the registers, with a warmth that keeps the highs from sounding brash and emphasizes the rich, full bass. Cocobolo can at times have an overly harsh attack to some players, but this guitar doesn't suffer from that issue in the least.

The snakewood binding from body to headstock complements the reddish tones of the cocobolo, while a simple abalone rosette and a gorgeous shell moon on the headstock add a subtle but exquisite touch. Condition of this 2020 OM is excellent, with only a bit of wear on the pickguard giving away its pre-owned status. Comes in its original Ameritage hardshell case.
