So long as access past the 12th fret is no issue, the nature of the 000 design allows it to have an array of advantages. By extending the body size to the 12th fret, this instrument produces greater volume, a more open top-end, and an increased low end than its OM successor. And it doesn't get more advantageous than one built by the legendary Santa Cruz Guitar Co. with all old-growth tonewoods!
Crafted with mahogany and Adirondack spruce, both harvested in the 1930s, this one has an absolutely huge, buttery-rich tone that is sure to please even the most demanding fingerstyle player. The Adirondack bracing and hot hide glue construction help further draw out the rich sound of the tonewoods, and the simple Brazilian rosewood binding and headstock overlay is all this guitar needs for dressing. If you're not already a convert of the 12-fret 000, this one will convince you.
