Bearing the pre-1950 "Rickenbacher" nameplate and a beautifully low serial number, this wonderfully eye-catching lap steel is replete in vintage appeal. The body, made of polished German tin, is immediately arresting and exemplary of contemporary, space-age design philosophies of the era. The pickup rings out loudly with expected bright, high end tonality and serious sustain. Furthermore, this lap steel remains in spectacular condition all around, with its OHSC even retaining much of its outer texture and deep blue inner lining.
