This Herringbone Dreadnought is a powerhouse with delicate shimmering highs and direct piercing mids and lows. The team at Pre-War strike yet again with a modern build that competes with the magic held in truly pre-wartime Martins. At just four years old, this acoustic boasts a rich open tone that finds its self rooted in traditional build techniques and musical wood choice. We do not often find ourselves at a crossroads of comparison with the rarer counterparts, but this guitar certainly takes us there. Built with excellent Torrefied Adirondack and beautiful Brazilian Rosewood, this Herringbone sings and begs to be played time and time again. The Level 2 distress takes away any worry of scoring the instrument and builds confidence in the player to truly leave nothing behind. Note: The guitar was cased and went through a house fire, where the case was damaged, and the guitar was moderately compromised. This guitar was sent to Judge Wolfe in Danville, KY to get it back to perfect condition (see our Specs tab for full repair details). Because of this, we have priced it at $10000 rather than $12000+, which is where it should really be priced.
Comes with a newer hardshell case.
