The Orange brand has firmly cemented its place among the greats of British amplification, offering a distinct tonal character all its own. This is the ever-charming “Pics Only” or “Graphic” model, meaning there’s no text on the front—only symbols to indicate the controls. This, along with the 120XXX serial number, places the amp’s production between 1971-1973.
Internally, the electrolytic caps have been changed but are still old and out of date - the buyer should consider a fresh recap. On the preamp side one resistor has been changed, but the rest looks to be stock - see circuit photos for further details. The AC section has been hard-wired for U.S. 120V operation, with the 220/240V taps disabled. A bias trimpot has also been added for easier adjustment. Overall, it’s in great shape for its age, with only minor signs of previous wear!
