Description
Olson guitars are world-class instruments, maybe most well-known for their affiliation with the iconic singer-songwriter James Taylor. This SJ Cutaway Brazilian is an outstanding build with stunning Brazilian rosewood back and sides and gorgeous appointments. The abalone inlays, purfling and rosette set it apart right away. The Brazilian rosewood back and sides provide a nice tonal pairing with the cedar top and the ebony board is easy to play all the way up thanks to its gorgeous Florentine cutaway. Cosmetically, it remains flawless and thanks to its Calton case it should stay that way! A pickup was previously installed, but the only footprint is a small hole drilled in the bridge plate.
