The “WN” in the model code stands for “Wide Neck.” If you’ve ever felt cramped on a standard 1 1/8" mandolin neck, this Northfield may be just what your left hand has been waiting for. The surprising part? For most players, the wider neck doesn’t feel wide at all—it simply offers a bit more space and fewer muffed notes.
