This 2023 Northfield NFB-F5A in Amber is a finely crafted mandolin, equipped with thoughtful player-focused upgrades including a tone bar, armrest, and string mutes. Built with an Adirondack spruce top and figured maple back and sides, it delivers a punchy, articulate tone with excellent projection and clarity—ideal for both ensemble work and solo playing. It features a compound radius fingerboard, starting at 5.7" at the nut and flattening to 7.7" at the 20th fret, offering enhanced comfort and playability across the neck. The finish is clean and warm, with just enough vintage flair to complement its modern feel. A beautifully executed F-style that blends tradition with refinement. Comes with an Airloom Carbon Fiber HSC.
