Instrument: Solid Body
Brand: National
Model: Model 1105
Finish: Blonde
SKU: GS6658-A
Handedness: Right
Made In Year: 1958
This unique and rare vintage National 1105 electric from the Chicago based Valco company features a solid but small maple body (around 12" at its widest point), humbucker-sized single coil pickups, and six tone/volume control knobs. Condition is good - we note finish crazing, some expected finish dings, and a small piece of the pickguard is broken off near the jack. The bridge was replaced with a Gibson ABR-1, it's missing the plate to cover neck heel, and the tuners are most likely non-original, though they are a period correct upgrade. Electronics are functional and the tonal options are extensive!
