Who knew half an inch could deliver so much extra bass and power? The McPherson MG is a dreadnought-inspired guitar to begin with, but with a balanced, versatile voice suitable for many genres. Clocking in at 5" deep and 16" across the lower bout, this one is larger than most dreads. The pairing of Macassar ebony and California redwood on a guitar this size maximizes the sustain, the sparkle, and the overtones these tonewoods are known for. The result is nothing short of stunning.

From their offset soundhole, cantilevered neck, and unique bracing system, everything Matt McPherson and his team do is designed to maximize the tonal output of their specially selected tonewoods. It's finished off with gold EVO frets, and L.R. Baggs pickup, and a custom Ameritage hardshell case.
