This Martin Style E is an exceptionally well-preserved example of the company's top-of-the-line mandolin. This particular instrument is extremely rare, being the only one made in 1918 and one of only 62 ever produced by Martin. Cosmetically, it shows signs of wear, including a top crack that has been expertly repaired. With medium-high action, this mandolin plays well and delivers a warm, balanced tone that is sure to impress.
