Crafted by Martin for the Oliver Ditson Company, this mandolin is made from premium woods that have stood up to time and repairs to leave us with a wonderful instrument. As time passes and instruments shift, it is no surprise that repairs are needed over the life of a 100+ year-old instrument. This mandolin has received the following repairs: A repaired heel crack. There is one small repaired crack on the left side of the mandolin and one long repaired crack that is half the length of the side. On the right side of the guitar there are 2 repaired cracks and one long crack the follows the whole length of the side. One small repaired top crack near right side of the bridge. Overspray and touch up throughout.
