This guitar has turned some heads in our shop! A pre-war 000 with 42 series appointments doesn't come around often, as its legendary collector status received a significant boost when Eric Clapton played a 1939 model, one of only 39 just like this, during his famous MTV Unplugged performance in the early 90's. It is truly the connoisseurs choice in vintage guitars. This instrument's repair history includes a neck reset and repaired center seam top crack with three minor cleats. The finish is original, as is the bridge plate. When it comes to holy grails, this one checks the boxes.Includes the original hardshell case for posterity, as well as a Calton case for better protection.

*When using Affirm, we charge an additional 3.5% fee on the total at checkout. The majority of our instruments are consignment, where CVG keeps a small percentage of each sale. To be able to cover the additional costs required to offer financing, we have to include a higher fee to the customer. The 3.5% fee will be included in and spread across your Affirm payments.
