At the higher end of Martin's classical line in 1968 was the Brazilian Rosewood backed 00-28C. In 1966, the C model, with a pre-1934 00 shape, replaced the G model with a post-1934 00 shape. The result was more classic looking design, more distinct in silhouette from its steel string equivalent. Lightly fan braced for gut/nylon strings only, these 00-28Cs were a quality American made classical guitar offering for folk singer-songwriters of the 60s. This particular example is in great shape with replacement tuners, replaced nut, and a refret.
This comes with its original green-lined plush case.
