Lowden S-50 Koa 2016

Something about the 00-sized Lowden S model just works so well all in one tonewood. In this case, we've got a gorgeous all master-grade koa with 50-style appointments. The gorgeous figure of the koa is highlighted by an abalone top purfling and rosette, plus a highly figured mahogany binding. Tonally, it's warm and sparkly, just like you dream koa should be. Its strong midrange, modest bass and sweet trebles would make the perfect complement for a singer/songwriter, whether they fingerpick or strum. The signs of prior ownership are very minor, with a small string scratch in the finish on the headstock by the B string. It comes with an installed K&K Pure Mini with volume control and XLR preamp.
