Description

Made a few years back for the 2019 Winter NAMM show, George Lowden and his team crafted this S-50 entirely of master-grade walnut. He only had enough of this exceptionally figured set to make three instruments, and this one landed at Casino Guitars in North Carolina initially before finding its way here! Walnut is a perfect tonewood for Lowden's 00-sized S model, with its woody, focused warmth and uniquely clean attack maximizing the comfortably-sized body. It's perfect for fingerstyle but with enough bite for single note flatpicked melodies, too. The 50 series appointments are understated Lowden elegance at its best: flamed maple binding and bevel, simple abalone rosette, and MOP leaf inlays.

This pre-owned guitar is in excellent condition, with the only notable wear being some marks on the pickguard.
